Do you own a vacant property? 

If you have a vacant property which you are struggling to sell, house swapping is the ideal way to release equity. For example, let’s say you are trying to sell a house which is being marketed at £190,000. Many people lower down the chain are looking to upsize. This means that you could swap with a house that is marketed for, say, £90,000. This means that you have released £100,000 equity from the house and you are left with a property that is much easier to sell or let.
